Looks fine....remember to send it recorded delivery! Good luck x
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

          Re: Hi everyone!!

Thanx very much to all of you. Posted letter today recorded delivery, also received letter from court confirming date for defence. Will need help to do this, not sure what I should use as my defence, without precise info from Carter.

I also received another letter today, which has confused the hell out of me. A reduced settlement offer from ' Mackenzie Hall debt purchase ltd'. I've never heard from these before so what's the reduced settlement for? The OC is Shop Direct, so could it be the same supposed debt BC are trying to con me out of???
Also the Principal Sum is £182.23 and offer of final settlement £36.45, how does that work???

            Re: Hi everyone!!

well wait and see what you get back from the CPR request, which will probably be sod all, before you put in your defence. Youll probably be able to use the fact that they haven't replied to the CPR in your defence (how can I possibly plead, Your Honour, when the Claimant has not provided me with the very information I need to formulate my defence?)

              Re: Hi everyone!!

Anyone with any suggestions what this 'Mackenzie Hall' letter could be? Am now wondering if Bryan Carter could have passed the debt on to them! or do they do that kind of thing?

                  Re: Hi everyone!!

File any correspondence from Mucky Hall under a rock or keep it handy for emergency loo roll.

MH specialise in statute barred and unenforceable debts.
They huff and they puff, but they have nothing to be concerned about.
They are the bottom of the rung when it comes to DCA's and are best ignored completely.
Although their missives do give a good laugh.

                    Morning Curlyben

I will do just that then lol.

If it's a statute barred debt with shop direct, then it would suggest that it's the same debt Bryan Carter are dealing with. Could that be possible?

                      Re: Hi everyone!!

Well the letter's been received and signed for by Carters. Now I guess I'll have to wait and see! (best not to hold my breath though eh!) So how long do I give them before I get my defence written?

Sorry for being such a pain!!!!

Well for starters get your thoughts down on paper with all of Mr C TP's listed.

That alone suggests that the alleged debt is statute barred, as Mackenzie Hall tends to buy old debts (and alleged debts) for pennies in the pound, making their money from people they can persuade to pay up or settle.
Also the Principal Sum is £182.23 and offer of final settlement £36.45, how does that work???
They may have bought it for 10% - £18.22 - so they are hoping to make 100% gross profit on their purchase.

It might be useful to find out if Bryan Carter assigned the alleged debt to Mackenzie Hall and, if they did, when that was done.

                                Re: Hi everyone!!

Thank you all for your help so far.

Well I'm gonna do as advised and ignore Mac Hall. Need to concentrate on my defence against Carter now.

Where to start? I guess if I don't hear back from Carter, then I would use that as not being able to defend. How to put that into words though I have no idea! and what would happen then?

There are several points that I could use in my defence, depending on what info I get from Carter, if any.

                                1. Phoenix recoveries(Creditor) do not deliver or sell goods, so how can I owe them anything.
(didn't even think of that, so thanx CurlyBen)
                                2. Carter tells me over phone that OC is Littlewoods, dates on POC - I have been living in my
current address between those dates, and do NOT owe Littlewoods anything.
                                3. Carter then tells me the debt is from my previous address, in which case the debt would
                                now be statute barred.
                                4. If the debt was from my previous address as suggested, and during the dates on the POC,
then it would be a case of identity fraud, as I had already moved.
