  • New Member - Hi

Hi Folks, just joined as recommend by a debt management company believe it or not !

Decided to try and go it alone rather than 'pay anyone else' in sorting my financial problems out. It's taken me a while to admit it that I do have problems but now have started to try and do something about it rather than burying my head in the sand !

Summary of my situation, so appreciate any advice or avenues to explore !
Approx £35 k of credit cards / overdraft debts
Aprrox £36 outstanding on a First Plus Secured Loan

Ideally would like to re mortgage with the extra £35k to pay off the unsecured high interest debts, but am just starting to follow the standard templates to ask these creditors to freeze interest for at least 6 months as overtime & bonus and now tax credits are no longer an option for me to even consider !

Looks like lots of research and effort to do but I thought I say hi to start with !
