Hi all,

to old and new members, hello. I joined LB back in November 09 and can say this is an excellent and knowledgeable group who genuinely do care.

I have been absent for some time owing to the past year being very difficult. (2 brain aneurysms, strokes, 8 times in hospital and sadly losing my partner of 9 years).

However, its a new year and the Cat is still here:-) so, hi everyone and belated HAPPY NEW YEAR! Cat XXX

Cat,

I too had an SAH that caused a stroke in 1991 at the age of just 27 back then coiling and stenting was unheard of so I had open surgery to clip it.

Welcome back and will be glad to chat to someone who went though what I did.
