  • I need advice re court threat - please

I am not sure which forum to post this problem in.

a few months after my finances got pretty bad the credit card company sold the account. Now morgan solicitors say they will start court action soon if I dont pay the lot immediately but I dont have the savings or income to do that. The letter has lots of legal stuff about pre-action protocols and I am obliged to respond to it and I find it really confusing. It also says I should get independent advice. I already did that and it said at the moment I can only afford to offer a token £1 a month to all my creditors until I am in a better situation. My other half is worried they are trying to get a court order on our home because that will turn an unsecure debt into a secure one

I can post up all the details if you can tell me where to and what should be left out.

I hope the legalbeagles can help, thank you.
