Hi..ohhh where do i start im basically in a major pickle.., I openned a loan £15,500 with Lloyds TSB in 2004 on a 7 year plan (6.7 APR). Was force to take out the IPP as the agent gave me no option, however, I then requested it to be cancelled, for obvious reasons... to pay the capital off in the quickess and cheapest way possible. I was assured that the IPP was cancelled. I recently visited my bank manger to question why my loan hadnt been cleared, to my surprise the bank manager stated that im still paying for protection, and still owe £3,700 of the capital balance. I looked at her in total confussion, as from my calculations ive paid 74 installments of £280.34 = £20,745...and still have another 14 more instalments left. That means im paying back £24,665 in total....ive been conned and cheaped...its totally unfair...

Payment protection insurance (PPI).
How did you ask for the PPI to be cancelled? Did you question the cancellation once you had already cancelled it?
Have you sent them a SAR for notes on your account?"Family means that no one gets forgotten or left behind"
