Today i found out that Empress Credit Solutions are in actual fact known as NKs Credit Solutions Ltd/Centrethorn.

How is it that one agency goes bust and it's parent company becomes embroiled in all sorts of allegations of gross (if not criminal) misconduct with regards to collections activity on behalf of Southern Water, yet survives under a new name?

Shouldn't these people have been completely nuetered as far as working with the debt collection industry goes?

That all depends on if the OFT still considers them fit to hold a consumer credit license, maybe a query you may wish to take up with them

I used to work for Centrethorn, when they were still a reputable collection agency (even if you don't believe in such a thing!). I would be happy to provide advice or information to anyone who had problems with them, NKS, or their latest reincarnation, Empress.
