I am not exactly a former cagger as I have an ongoing thread in CAG as I still have an ongoing saga with AMex. Luckily for me my laptop busted so I had to googled CAG & found this site and decided to have a look. Thank you Google!!
Having read some of the posts here, I am so very glad I did. Due to my ignorance I suppose I didn't realise what's happening OTR. Most probably because Lowells never chased me hence I didn't really look into those forums.
Having said that, since my Amex case has re-surrected (going to trial eventhough I managed to dismiss the summary judgment), I was asked to be careful what I post as Mishcon dereya (Amex sols) are reading posts in CAGs which make me feel a wee bit uncomfortable but I think I have got to share my experience on this particular case with those who's subscribing to my thread there especially as my case is quite unique(I think anyway) i.e it is online application pre CCA 2006 & Amex cannot produceda signed agreement as there is none. This has been going on since 2007 & since I won the SJ August last year they have changed solicitor from Brachers to mishcon de reya and nowMishcon decided to take me to trial. I have to admit I rarely had time to venture in CAG until now when I need to do research & asked queies but I found out that all the good people who has helped me before has gone silent on me...
So this is where you guys are...I am so glad I found this site. I hope to all the good people who has helped me before can helped me again to trash this parasite of mine that's called Amex.
