    Hi, Mr Black.

Sounds like phishing trip, ignore until they send you something worth reading.

      Re: mr black

Are you in a country with reciprocal debt collecting arrangements, I believe that Canada and Australia may do this. I moved to Taiwan and there is no such arrangement here, so it is easy to move address and disappear from the "radar". Besides which, just because they write and say that you owe them doesn't mean that you do. As the other post suggests, it is a phishing letter, ignore it. Responding would only encourage them to write more.
      Thanks!

Definitely ignore if you've had no dealings with Pipex/Tiscali
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

OrYou could send them the prove it letterif you feel the need....only problem with Fred is that they use Bryan Carter who is a most obnoxious pieceof work, so it might be worth getting shot of Fred before Bryan gets involved, as they take people to court at the drop of a hat. Although they always back down why get the hassle if you can avoid it...

hi wendy thank you for your advice not shor if to ignore it or send the letter to prove it . it,s watt happens in the 7days that is worrying as thy add charges on and a bailiff coming round to my home . the letter from Fred is to me but start with dear sir or madam so that says to me that they don't have much to go on . and pipex limited is a pip drainage company and pipex is a broadband services . all so Fred only uses a po box in weybridge . so will think on it for the weekend . thanks agan. mr black.

                    Re: mr black

and what makes you think they will send a bailiff to your home? They cannot do this, if they have said they will it's just a scare tactic. They are a bunch of lowlifes chancing their arm in the hope that you will be scared and pay up. If you honestly don't owe Pipex/Tiscali anything then you have nothing to worry about. Either ignore it completely or call their bluff and ask them to prove it.

                          Re: mr black

Bryan is the "legal" arm of Fred. I use the term legal very loosely as Bryan wouldn't know anything about the law even if it jumped up and hit him on the head with a Law book....however he is a very nasty piece of work and will usually issue proceedings at the drop of a hat. That said, he can usually be returned back under his stone fairly easily once you show that you won't be bullied and that you probably have a far better grasp of the law than him or his errrm...legal teams lol. Send the prove it letter to both Fred and Bryan. Do not pay them any money until they prove, legitimately, what you owe, what for, and who to. Don't speak to them by telephone and keep everything in writing.

There's a few threads on here dealing with Bryan Carter and Co, just type Bryan Carter into the search and they'll appear. I had a particularly satisfying experience with him myself, as it happens. Well satisfying for me, that was. Don't think he got much funout of it though!
