    I am working on my dissertation and would like to know which is the strongest Bank in the UK and which is considered as the most weak Bank.

    What the measures you are using?
    If you are using weak in terms of Government money then Northern Rock is a strong candidate as it is 100% owned by the government.
    If you are using evidence of customer services then I believe Co-operative took that last year.
    If you are looking at customer base the LloydsBankingGroup may be the strongest since they have over 33% of the PCA market.
    This is what you are going to be up against in your dessertation, ie being able to prove with the measure you are using which is the strongest. I would add that if you are doing a final year dessertation you are really leaving it late to ask on the forum here. If it is a PhD study then how long have you left to submit it?

      If you are looking at 'most incompetent, useless bank', then it's Lloyds TSB (or 'Royds TSB' as I prefer to call it) - hands down.
