  • Hi, new to this site

    Hi,
    I'm new to this site.
I think it will be incredibly helpful!
I'm in a lot of debt, exacerbated by husband being out of work 6 months.
I'm fed up with being chased by the credit card companies. I don't want to evade the debt (which scarily now amounts to £40k and I bet a lot of that is interest) but I can't physically pay it back more than token amounts at present. But the calls, they keep coming!
I've also decided to make a claim for bank charges against Abbey.
I am going off to trawl the forms to pick up handy hints!
    TIA!

Welcome to Beagles I hope everyone here can help you in some way.

Make a list of your debts and post them up in the appropriate forum, once we all know what you need then you should receive some good advice. It usually helps if you can complete and post up an I/E Sheet

As for the bank charges reclaim, currently the test case has everything on hold, however, if you qualify as Hardship under the waiver then you may be able to reclaim.

Do you have many credit card late/overlimit charges, these can often be the quickest way to recoup some funds and prevent you slipping further.
Any opinions I give are my own. Any advice I give is without liability. If you are unsure, please seek qualified legal advice.
