Hi everyone
I am a newbie to this site and to this forum stuff! I am curious about this so-called company "Banking Solutions Bureau", who called me the other day saying they could, for a small fee, reclaim my bank charges for me. They told me that they prepare the letters and then send them to me for me to fill in my details and post off myself. Given that all the letters needed for this are posted on the moneysavingexpert website I did think that this was a bit of a gip, however I chatted to the lady called 'Margaret' and she gave me the information that they could be checked on the companies house website (I can't find them) and gave me their own web address www.bankingsolutionsbureau.com (which is undergoing a period of maintenance) and a phone number (which I haven't checked yet).
This afternoon I 'googled' their name and one of the search results came up with this site.
So do we know what the deal is with these people? Are they legit or not? Etc, etc!!

Yes steer clear - if you would like to claim your bank charges back have a read of the guides on here, everything you need is there, they cannot do anything any faster than you can yourself, and actually using a CMC of any sort makes it longer and harder as you have all their forms to fill in too.
