Firstly I would like to say "Hello" to all of the Forum Members.
I'm a little green at this, I've never been part of a forum before. I have joined so that I can share my experiences and limited knowledge of financial issues which have caused me considerable stress over the last 2 years.

At the moment I am deliberating over whether I should complete an N1 Form.
One of my creditors is charging me considerable amounts of interest and charging me for arrears etc even though they are aware of my current situation. I have been told that an N1 form is the best way to freeze interest & charges, is this true? I have tried reasoning with my creditor in several letters. I have also got a DMP with CCCS, this hasn't helped with this particular creditor, although my other creditors have treated me fairly to date since CCCS began helping me.

I have no idea how to complete an N1. I don't know what the pros and cons of using an N1 are. Can someone help, please.

A Warm welcome to the forum, can I ask who the creditor is, cos sometimes that knowledge means it is easier to work out how to deal with them.
