  • Restons Solicitors

    Hi
I am new to the forum and would like advise on a Tesco's credit card from around 2002. My husband and I divorced so it was a joint debt but in my name. I went to citizens advise and it was arrange to pay £2 per month. Eventually years later it had been passed on to a collection agency and for years i was paying them. They then sold it on to another company but correspondence went to an old address so was not aware and was still paying the £2. I then was contacted by Reston's solicitors and I have been paying £10 pound a month but now they want a financial statement which i do not wish to provide. i have stopped the next payment being paid as i just want confirmation if they are legally bound for this debt.

    Kind Regards

    Hi SUDANNA59

    Welcome to LB

Send Restons a CCA request, they should pass it on to the owner of the debt. Make sure you get Proof of Postage.
