  • Employment - working from home

I applied for full-time work from home to care for my partner. The request was granted, and my contract of employment was changed to reflect this, with a 10% reduction in pay.

Despite working 4 days from home and 1 day in the office, the colleagues still receive their full salary.

Given that my colleagues only work one day in the office, is the 10% salary reduction fair?

Have you raised this with your employer?

I haven't asked my employer about this yet; I just wanted to know my position before I approached them.

This began in September 2023 and my colleagues 4 day at home and 1 day in the office began in October of this year.

Back in Sept 2023 did you agree to the change as part of the company accepting your flexible working request to work from home?

I agree to the change back in Sept 2023, that's when everyone was going into the office, and I was the only one WFH full-time.
