  • Letter before claim but no pcn

I have today received a Letter before Claim about an unpaid parking charge notice from ES Parking Enforcement. The fine has been escalated to £170 and advises settlement before court. The fine at the court stage is estimated to be £255.
My question is how do I go about this when I haven't received a PCN or any communication before this?
The Letter before claim states the date and location and PCN number but I did not receive anything about it until this point?
    Many Thanks

So you write to them, explaining this is the first communication received from them and accordingly you would like copies of all their previous communications.
Add that as they mention the possibility of court action they have to exchange information so that you can understand their position (as per CPR
Practice Direction- Pre-action conduct and protocols)

When you receive a response post up on this thread

Do not in any way identify the driver, either to them or on open forum (as parking companies do read these threads0
