Hi new to this so sorry if I have posted incorrectly.
I have just had Nolan solicitors at my door to issue a court order. I refused to confirm my identity and would not take the letter from them.
I had received a few letters from them saying they were acting for Cabot. I'm pretty sure it's over a Lloyds credit card, the issue arose from when they changed to tsb, the payments stopped being taken and I didn't realise for months and got passed from pillar to post for weeks trying to sort it out and I gave up. This is from about 10 years ago if not more.
Will this be the last I hear from them until (I'm assuming) it goes to court or will they be back again? I cant remember the exact amount but pretty sure its around the £2000 mark. Are my wages likely to be arrested? I'm in Scotland if that is relevant. Thanks

    Hi LG82

    Welcome to LB

We don't know what the Court Order says.

If you haven't made a payment or acknowledged the debt in the last 5 years, the debt might of been statute barred.

You really need to find out what is what, so we can advise on a way forward, e.g. set up a payment plan etc.
