  • Deed Of Covenant

    Hello,

I bought a property last year, in buying this property I also took over part ownership of the unadopted road my property is located on.
As a property has been sold on the property, the conveyancer for the buyer has asked who the Deed Of Covenant should be sent to and I have absolutely no idea.

When I made my purchase, I signed a Deed Of Covenant and sent it to my conveyancer and had no issues. I have no idea who they sent it to, or if it was kept by them.

    Any advice would be appreciated

As we do not know anything about this deed of covenant such as who the parties are, what it concerns, who it benefits etc, you may do best to ask your conveyancer.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
