  • How to stop Lowell harassing me

    Hello!

Back in 2017 or 2018 I failed to pay my Three bill (around £30) for one month. I did this by mistake, as I thought I had paid, they were contacting me by phone (they said) but I didn't answer, so they decided to disconnect me and deactivate my phone number.

I didn't realised until my phone was not working at all and ended up calling with my friends mobile to find out what happened. They actually completely cancel my contract and because my contract was not ending until months after, they were charging me the whole fee at once - reopening the account was not an option. I remember the fee being something around the £300+ even though I had been their customer since they literally open!

After long time in the phone with them, I agreed on opening a new account - but with a different number. I kept on paying my bill as usual and I really can't remember if I paid them some money for the old phone - as I was aware I failed with a payment, but suddenly Lowell were contacting me for £200.

The reason I have been reluctant to pay it back is because this was meant to be resolved by three. I was so upset that after over 10 years+ being their customer, they will deactivate my phone for missing a payment, not contacting me beforehand (they said they did but I have no proof) and also piling a £300+ bill on me I was not able to pay.

I don't remember any more details, I just know that Lowell have been harassing me since! it has been around 5 years now. Is there anything at all I can do? I tried years ago with three but they didn't take responsibility....not sure what's the best route for this....

I appreciate any advise on this! Thank you.

Do you have records of the arrangements with Three that you have described?
