    A college reported me to my line manager for drinking at work. I had not been. Two weeks after this (I had been on leave) I was told to attend a meeting in relation to my "well being". I asked for more details and the response was I would find out at the meeting. I attended to be met with my manager and another area manager. I was asked if I had been drinking on a specific day. I vehemently denied this, as it was not true. I was given the "substance misuse policy", I declined it, as it was not relevant to me. On the write up of this meeting she wrote " Several people had reported I had been drinking", this had not been said at the meeting. I asked for this to be clarified it was amended to "2".
    This happened 6 years ago. My manager has, this week, given me a 4 page document of all and any concerns she has had with me. This was included. It was not investigated or proven.
    I don't know if this has been shared with anyone else. Can something historical, uninvestigated and unproven be brought up?

    Raise a grievance with someone higher up in your college.

      A quick answer to your question is no.

      I would also question why you have been given a 4 page document of issues your manager has with you. Why have they not been speaking to you about issues as they arise and depending on what they are arranging a meeting with you to discuss them and agree a plan going forward?

      As atticus has said it might be worth considering raising a grievance or at the very least a discussion with HR needs to be arranged.
