  • Removing first aider payment

    Hi there,
If a company wants to remove a small payment being made to first aiders each month?
What is the process that they'll do? How would they remove such payments? it will be part of job descriptions instead.

    Thanks in advance.

    Is the payment contractual?
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Generally, an employer has the freedom to modify non-contractual terms including additional payments at any time without the need to get the agreement of the employee, provided that this is not done in a discriminatory or inherently unreasonable manner.
