    Hi
    i I am in a token payment plan with Cabot and have 2 years to go before my default period of 6yrs is up,are they likely to apply for.a CCJ before 6years is up-I owe £6800 and can only afford £20 a month.

    Try not to worry.

    If you can only pay £20 a month, a Court will only ever ask you to pay what you can afford. Cabot may need evidence, so you fill in an Income and Expenditure form, take into account the cost of living, food, energy etc. Once you've shown Cabot that is all you can afford, they have no 'rhyme or reason' to take the matter to Court.
