  • Tips for supervisors working non-supervisory shifts

    Hello,
I Manage a restaurant franchise location in Oregon. Per Oregon law, myself and other supervisors are not allowed to receive tip income from our guests. I am wondering if I can allow my Shift Leaders (supervisors) to work non-supervisor shifts and receive tips for those shifts worked? On our POS machine, I can set multiple jobs that I person can clock-in as, ie they can clock-in as a Shift Leader when scheduled to run shifts, or Crew Member when they will only be working the line making food. These positions have different pay scales. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Sorry, this is a UK law forum.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read this: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
