    Hi,

I have posted in association with this query before but not heard anything.

Can anyone advise re expectations and legal requirements concerning solicitors providing timely breakdowns of their costs in association with a personal injury claim

I have a claim which has been ongoing now for over 4.5 years, but at no point have my solicitors provided a breakdown of their costs.

The case was started on a no win no fee basis, and liability by the third party has been admitted.

I assume try solicitors will be able to claim their costs back from the 3rd party and as such this is why they haven't provided me with any costs, but am not sure.

Also am I right in thinking the max a solicitors can claim from the settlement amount is 25%?

    Any advise much appreciated.

The solicitors should have provided Terms and Conditions of business at the time they were engages, will be a lot of information in the documents.

Also their win fee / %.
