Can a neighbor secretly record on his mobile phone while I am in my own garden doing some hedge trimming on my side of the garden and then they call the police.
Also neighbor has video recording an argument / dispute recorded on ring camera / phone directly at our front garden. They have picked bits that they have chosen to use as harassment in court. Unfortunately I did NOT know they were recording and it was a heated argument. I called them some names that they have built their case to County Court. They continued to secretly video my conversation while I was on my own chanting to myself as I was left upset with the heated argument. The full argument is about 16 mins and they has sent this to me. Honestly I've been setup with their claims and never been in any trouble having lived here for over 40 years. Again they called the police obtaining a log.
I know I should not have used foul language it was a heated argument as they all ganged up on me. I feel bullied but they have used this as bate with snippets of the video for a claim to County Court. Some parts of the recording is clear some parts are both sides shouting. I know one of the neighbors walks with a stick and will play the disability card.
I am very surprised the positioning of neighbor camera direct into mine and other neighbors front driveways capturing movement and sound across 4+ houses, could there be counter claim for GDPR and them instigating ongoing nuisance.
They are using the above now for harassment, trespass, compensation, and a injunction having served court papers.
Trespass has been tradesmen or guests that have stepped on their drive to climb into their van (drive is narrow), I have no control over other people doing this.
The argument was was a one off they they have largely blown up and with many photos of me in my front garden and my tradesman.
How would a court see this do they have any grounds for a claim with this and police logs made against me where I have never been detained or cautioned.
