    I had a huge issue with them relating to being self employed and fought them for years. We have reached a stalemate where I officially owe something but they are not collecting it - has been like that for many years now.

      Getting evidence of 'notification' would be good, at least they can't say you didn't tell them.

      Also you need to work out a few times that monies is actually owed. Sometimes they make mistakes.

        Absolutely! My "debt" is not owed but they will not have it no matter how much evidence I provide....
