I've already written to Erudio to ask consent and am awaiting reply.
Do you think the following reasons would be strong enough?
    1. previous landlord evicted me and a large family with minimum time to leave due to asking for essential repairs to the property. Then tried to take the £1800 bond which we spent months fighting and eventually won but took up so much of our spare time between looking after young kids and working
    2. Out of the blue our teenage girl tried to take her own life and we had to have her out of school and have been having to keep close eye on her with her being close to anorexic. (she's doing very well now but this was a huge priority to deal with at the time.) We didn't even open a lot of letters during this time and put lots of things on hold in order to focus on her
    3. due to the previous landlord pretending they weren't going to evict us, we struggled to find another property as we had one lined up for a later date. In order to get the current house I had to pay 6 months rent plus the bond up front to secure it as other people were also wanting it. Getting this money together and paying it off etc took a lot of effort and extra working hours etc
    4. current address is expensive but we didn't have much choice at the time so we are hoping to move again next year. A CJJ could make it very difficult to secure my family a home.

Combination of the above made very an extremely busy and stressful period

FYI: Right now, other than this CCJ situation, things are pretty good

    Thanks again for the help

Judges know that people have 'real lives', so I think they maybe sympathetic as there is a lot to deal with from day to day.
