    Hi all
I need some help re Lowell
    A bit of background first

I received several emails off Lowell in April this year re capital one and BT debts that were last paid in October or November 2016
I became no fixed abode then and was in a very bad state.

I remained no fixed abode till march this year when I was rehoused , then in April received emails
I wrote to them giving them my address and stating I thought these debts were statute barred but I never heard anything off them

Last week I got another email asking me to ring them re a personal matter ,but this one only lists the cap one debt
I will not ring but I cannot understand why they have emailed as I did give them my address

Do I need to re send the statute barred letter or leave it be
    Thank you for any advice

If you prefer to receive correspondence by post, then you should make it clear to Lowell that any discussion or conversation should be dealt with by letter, to the address you have previously given them. You will not respond to emails or telephone calls and they should cease doing so immediately otherwise you will consider their conduct as harassment and reserve all rights including legal proceedings.

Lowell may have a right to pursue the debt (to an extent) but that doesn't mean they get to the unilateral right to decide how they should contact you. If they do send you letter, feel free to come back here and tell us the contents because if you think the debt is statute barred then Lowell should not be demanding anything further from you until they can provide evidence as to why it is not barred - this is an FCA Rule which they are legally required to comply with.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

Just to add, you are telling them the debt is Statute Barred, what you've posted on the forum is, 'I wrote to them giving them my address and stating I thought these debts were statute barred'. 'If the facts stack up', then you are certain that the debt is Statute Barred.

Send the following, make sure you get Proof of Postage:-
