Shoplifting from asda

Hi.i got caught by shoplifting by asda it was a coat worth of £29. They didnt ask me my id they just took jacket from me then they said u can leave then they said look at the camera which was on the enterance.
iam so upset
my question is am i banned from asda or not and how do you know if you are bann from asda or not .?
iam so so upset i just want honest answer for that i will really appreciate it thanks.

They didn't say you were banned, took no details, so you aren't banned, but it might be an idea to avoid the store for a couple of months. No doubt 'facial' recognition may alert them to your presence in the store (I don't know 100%, but plenty in the media about this). Normally, when your banned they take details and hand you a letter.

Put it behind you, move on, there is no point pondering on it.
