  • Small claims mediation

Please can someone advise . I have defended my claim from Cabot financial against myself . I acknowledged the court claim then asked for CCA and CPR31.14 which they could not provide I have defended the claim . They then allocated to small claims track which to which I filled in the form and sent back to the court . I have today received an email with a mediation telephone call . However it does say if I don’t have enough evidence from the claimant then this is not suitable as they could not provide the CCA and the CPR 31.14 please could someone advise on what to do next . I would be very grateful for any advice
    many thanks

In mediation, it is helpful to be able to get your case across, before you start exploring possible compromises. If the claimant is struggling to provide the evidence it would need to produce in order to succeed, is that really your problem?
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf
