  • County Court Claim Forms Addressed Wrong?

    Hello Everyone,

I need of some general advice, we run a small ecommerce business and in 2020 approached by a supplier to sell there goods, the supplier automatically set a £3,800 credit limit without any paperwork or questions asked? which seemed odd as not the process we went though with our other suppliers?

Any way we proceeded to to place a few orders and they where absolutely useless, orders received incomplete, damaged or normally not at all! so stopped using them all most before we started!

We have heard nothing from the supplier until this week?

This week we have received County Court Claim Forms for non payment of goods they advise where supplied to us in 2021?

    Although these goods never Delivered?

Now back in 2021 the supplier was informed the goods where not received by ourselves and we where advised they where looking into it? but never heard back from them?

Anyway cut a long story short the supplier has processed the Claim Forms to the wrong address and have been passed to me by a neighbour who indeed lives at the address on the Claim Forms?

I just need some guidance as never had to deal with anything like this before? I now have the Claim Forms but guess the is a way to respond when they have been clearly sent to the wrong address?

If they don't even now my correct address I guess this might also explain why the goods where never received in the first place!
