Hi, I am new to this site, my problem is I brought a car on what I thought was a PCP agreement, not a personal loan PCP, when I went to part exchange my car I told them there was finance still owing on the car, I went ahead and brought the new car on a new PCP agreement. A month later I received a text stating the car company had not paid the existing finance off on the old car, I chased this up and was told there was no marker showing that the car had finance on it, and they said they had no recollection of myself pointing out there was. I then chased up with Hyundai finance who informed me that a marker had been taken off in 2021, without my knowledge. I now face a bill of £4000. Is there anything I can do, so I do not have to pay.
