I just heard about a court case I've got on January 5 2023 about a stalking protection order. I have a simple caution against harassment to my name. Slightly mitigating the dire state of affairs is that the person I used to date used to call the police at random. I'd probably describe this as bullshit upperclass behaviour but hey.
Questions - does a stalking protection order show up on a DBS check? Would it impact my ability to take the police to court in the future? I don't think you can arrest someone on the grounds that someone told them something on the phone but at this stage I don't get surprised by anything. (This would be re: simple caution). It's my first time doing anything involving a court so any advice on how to self-represent if needs must and what to expect would be much appreciated.
