Primark Shoplifting

have done a big mistake in my life went for shopping in primark with my friends and we tried to shoplift a shoe for fun which is a big mistake I did and worst part is I caught from the security and they took me room and noted my ID details (provisional license) and later they gave me a slip (RLP) now I have pay the fine . Now I am so worried how much I need to pay for this and recently I have applied for my visa will it affect my visa process and for applying jobs DBS

I will never repeat this mistake again
please guide me do I need to pay RLP
Some are saying to avoid RLP letters
please some one tell what steps i need to do?

the only people whos say you should pay RLP, are RLP

RLP do not issue fines (courts levy fines, police and councils issue penalties)
RLP beg you to pay unwarranted demands which they disguise as invoices for imagined costs.

They will send you a number of threatening letters, and might even refer the matter to a debt collector.
just ignore them

Your visa application will not be affected and the DBS check will not reveal the incident

The worst part is that you would want to shop in primark at all
