Hello sorry i was trying to keep it short, my friend lives in a council flat 3 weeks ago whilst using the washing machine it caught on fire, LFB were called and put the fire out, my friend and her 4 children all under 12 and pets are all safe and well, LFB called the council for temporary accommodation she was put in a Travelodge 1 room with her 4 children one of the children has Autism 3 weeks ago and is still there now. The manufacture of the washing machine was informed of the fire who sent a man out to inspect it, then last week 2 men came to remove it who were shocked at the sight of the machine and the state of the kitchen, they have said they will inspect the machine and then she will receive a refund for the machine then they will send out a loss adjuster, the whole kitchen is covered with thick black smoke everything is either ruined of smells of smoke , numerous trips to the launderette, parking is costing her a fortune, living on take aways as there are no cooking facilities the hotel will not even heat the baby food, all this caused by a faulty washing machine, should they compensate her for everything she has lost due to this fire, thanks again Sue
