Hi All.
So, I have LEI, and the solicitors employed to deal with a money claim against me missed a court deadline, so I ended up with a CCJ in default.
An appeal was attempted by the solicitor - it was not successful..
Then, despite the same solicitor paying the judgement off, they refused to get the CCJ marked as satisfied..
The LEI company step in with the following emails:-
1) "Dear XXXX
As discussed there is £XX,000 of your indemnity remaining and I would like to work with you to appoint a
solicitor of your choosing to assist you in having the CCJ removed from your record, if possible. Please let
me know if you have a solicitor in mind who might be willing to assist you under the cover of your legal
expenses insurance cover."
And secondly:-
"Dear XXXX
Thank you for your emails. I am so sorry XXX XXX has not come back to you.
There would be no third party to this dispute. However a solicitor can advise you further on this.
Please let me know if you have any other further queries."
I am thus in need of a solicitor or barrister to sort this out for me..
Thanks in advance.
