  • Hi and SOS

    Hi,
Firstly, I would like to say I'm happy to be part of this great community.

Secondly, I wanted to ask once a father passes away, how are his assets/money split amongst the wife/children? My father died two months ago, and my mother wants all the money. She doesn't want to come to a compromise. I'm not ready to remain without inheritance since I was waiting for it for so long.

Thanks in advance for all your replies!

The first question will be is did your father make a Will?
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.

May I say how delighted we are to welcome you to this wonderful friendly place.

The first question is indeed whether your father left a Will.

And if there is no Will, the surviving spouse receives a statutory legacy, presently set at £270,000.

You may need to wait. Our King had to.
