  • General Sanctions Order and removal of General Sanctions Order

Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction on this. I am dealing with a moneyclaim against one of my companies. An entry appeared on the claim which says "General Sanctions Order was made". I think that's because one or other of us failed to file the Directions Questionaire in time.

There is now an additional entry after the "General sanctions order was made" entry which states "Notification of general sanctions order was removed". Does anyone know what this means? Does it confirm that the sanctions order was complied with and is therefore no longer in place? In other words, the claim or defence (whichever is relevant in this instance) is not now open to be struck out?

That would appear to be the case. You could try contacting the court office to ask.
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.
