Hi,
I am the owner of my current vehicle (from new). This week, I received an acknowledgement in the post from DVLA to say that I am no longer the registered keeper of my car.
I am in the process of selling my car, but have not disclosed any information from the V5C, which is needed for someone to register my car, and have not yet sold it. The V5 has remained in a file box and stored away safely.
Not sure if it’s a coincidence in timing, but I am now unable to sell my car until a new V5C is issued in my name and to my address.
The DLVA have opened a case that can take 4 weeks.
Does anyone know why or how this has happened?
Thanks in advance,
Anthony
