Just joined the site and was looking for some advice on how to handle the situation I have found myself in after attending a recent concert? I was with my carer/PA at a concert which was ruined for me by the abuse and bullying from 3 staff members of the establishment. I have emailed the venue and asked who to direct my complaint at and received an email this morning to say they have spoken to the staff involved and the upshot is I have been told I am no longer welcome at the venue. Im so upset, they have made this conclusion without hearing my side of the story, which is very different from their staffs version. If anyone can help me I'd be so grateful. I am disabled and felt bullied, threatened (one staff member screamed at me) and the Duty Manager took it upon himself to put his hands on me and usher me away. I have never been treated like this before and I wanted to know what my first port of call should be, ie Do I report the matter to the Police? Do I contact someone higher up than the front of house staff member, who sent the email to me? I just don't know who to turn to. The venue is a registered charity (North Music Trust Reg Charity no. 1087445)
