  • Closing balance £0????

I’ve requested documents from Debt Collector, under CCA.
They have sent me some and one of them was a list of my transaction to original Creditor and they made a huge mistake:
instead of putting the right amount they put £0.00 as Closing Balance

Does that mean my debt disappear due to their mistake? Or do I still have to pay?
Can they argue? Because this mistake makes them not trustworthy and as far as I know the rest of information can be made up.

I’ve got it in writing, can I argue? Can they argue?

    Anyone?

I’ve receive this after CCA request. Will be writing to them tomorrow. Would love to make a good ‘argument’ so they can’t back up.

Could use a little help from a good soul, who has some knowledge. I’m a rookie and don’t want to mess this opportunity up

I’ve made up my mind. Hope it’s a right decision. I’ll send them a letter saying that closing balance clearly shows £0.00, so I assume debt is settled.
But I’ll also send them “pay-to-delete” offer; was thinking £40

If someone thinks it’s not the right thing to do, please point me in the right direction
