Help needed with regards to a holiday of a lifetime cancelled due to covid

Can anyone help on legal assistance we need please?

We are over 7 weeks now where we were unable to go on our amazing Caribbean cruise holiday due to covid. I’m so angry to even write this. But NO cancellation document from travel agent so we can’t even get the ball rolling on our insurance claim, and she’s blaming Royal Caribbean and British Airways as ‘apparently’ they are the ones holding up the document?!

We all know how long insurance claims take at the best of times, and we’ve not even been able to start ours yet!! I’m absolutely livid

We are putting in a formal complaint but I want to go further, I’m beyond upset with this whole %#¥$ show (sorry for my language, but it’s justified)

Can anyone help or advise please?

Important question: did you buy the whole holiday as a package, i.e. flights, cruise, the lot, or did you buy these elements separately? If a package, the Package Travel Regulations 2018 will help. They give the right to a refund in full within 14 days of cancellation.

Also, did you pay by credit card?
