  • Recovery of parts

Hello everyone , need a pointer on the way to resolve a issue ,
My car was taken in for repair by a garage , the garage went bust and closed , I recovered my car but they had sent the parts of for repair to a engineering shop . The engineering shop will not retiurn my parts to me , the work has not been completed , they cannot chase the garage as it no longer exists. How can I recover my parts , they say the contract is between them and the closed garage
    Any clues please

    Just some possible ideas, unqualified.
You own the parts that were in the car.. The garage was acting as an agent between you and the repair shop. They belong to you, not the garage,
Have you suggested they repair, you pay when parts returned ?

If you have read my other posts I won the CCJ claim agaist the garage owner , its been a real mess
