Good afternoon, my luggage was lost on my outbound flight from Manchester to Tenerife on 30 March 22 we completed a PIR and have heard nothing since. I have travel insurance with Allianz through my bank account and my home insurance with LV plus gives cover away from home. Yesterday having waited the 21 days I tried to complete a claim with Allianz and it asks for confirmation from the airline that my luggage is definitely lost - I haven't had any comms with the airline so used the link on the TUI site for lost baggage.
My question is, what is the best way of dealing with this? no one seems to be very helpful and the expectation of receipts for everything that was in the case seems excessive as much of it was cosmetics and toiletries with some shoes. The real value items were a Dyson Hairdryer 3 years old and some straighteners also about the same age but I certainly haven't got these receipts either.
