  • RLP urgent

have recently been contacted numerous time by RLP saying that I've been in a conspiracy with 49+ other people over a bottle of £250 aftershave online saying we have used the same photograph.

I've just had a text saying please call this number to prevent court action.
He bottle smashed so I chucked it in the bin and when I requested refund from John Lewis they asked for picture proof so I sent one from Internet.

    Could someone please advise

You have inadvertently been caught up in a scam that was operated by a group of people trying to obtain money fraudulently from various retailers.
Not very well thought out as they all used the same photograph of a smashed bottle, and surprise surprise, it was spotted.

RLP are now seeking payment of a sum of money which they claim represents JL's costs.

Suggest you post up the letters you have received from RLP

Interesting. Trying to understand the original claim? What was it for?
