    Hi Achmed

I think you need to provide a few more details, we don't give recommendations, but we might be able to provide further input.

This brand in one form or another have been using illegal devices since 1998, the treatments performed encompassed beauty and medical, these devices have been operating illegally since 1998.
Every single one of the IPL devices manufactured and sold never had CE/ CE medical compliance, just with the IPL alone the numbers are in the 5 million that's without the other illegal devices.
Average cost of a set of treatments was £1,200.00,the certificates are totally illegal, so this is why we are looking for someone to handle these cases on a no win no fee basis, we also understand that there will be meeting to examine our proof and what has transpired over the years..

GOOGLE, type 'products safety lawyers uk', seek some free advice with they should provide, see where you go from there. It sounds like that there is more then one of you 'so this is why we are looking for someone to handle these cases'. So maybe a group action.

Unfortunately when we do contact these firm its always "was anyone hurt or injured " the fact is that any treatment on a device that is not CE/CE medical compliant is illegal, has there been an incident "yes they are illegal"
Seeing the devices have not been to a notified body to perform medical treatments makes the device totally illegal, even if the device performed amazing treatments is still performed an illegal treatment.

Trading Standards would 100% be interested, you can contact them through CAB.

total waste of time, inept ,unfit for purpose, when it comes to CE compliance and verifying technical file "waste of space"
so are HSE, An email from division within the EU pointed a very sad portrait of Trading standards, they have not got a clue on iIPL/lasers, what a notified is and what it does, they do not have the expertise to understand electrical drawings, the ones which are many are not fit for purpose in regards to CE/CE medical .
Has much use has a cholate fireguard "lucky i don't really say how useless they really are" .

The problem is that for 25 odd years these devices were issued licences/ or they they local authorities knew they were being used, because of their inability/ ineptitude they accepted the COC on face value.
We informed them they were and always have been illegal, trouble is how do you remove devices that have been operating in that area/ salon for 25 years, so they ignored us.

I think you need to get local / national press involved, publicity then action.

Yes you are correct, but before we blow it we require a legal firm to handle it, so this is the problem and if anyone can suggest a way forward we would be grateful

What also gets to me is that the very same HSE/trading standards prosecute people who have non compliant devices/ or certificates that are not fit for purpose, but they know that devices that we warned them about are still operating and all treatments illegal.
Talk about double standards, one law for one and another law to protect them from a massive claims.

Are there any independent reports on the product?

We contacted the test house the one and certificate was revoked, also to perform medical it has to be tested by a notified body every single one of the devices have never have been tested by a "notified body"
MHRA, European union are clear on this, to perform medical you have to be tested by a 3rd independent party/ notified body, to place/put a device/ devices on the market without having the correct certification make the device illegal.
The act alone of placing a device without meeting the criteria make it illegal.
                            Thanks for the reply

Two things, have you contacted your MP or Secretary of State at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
