    Hiya,
my grandad has recently passed and I would like some legal advice to clear some things up as I am not getting answers from anywhere it seems. Little back story first :
So my grandad has a house in his name and took the equity out on it about 5 or 6 years ago. When he got sick the first time he changed his will to a company called honey and he was unaware that they would take over the executor position when he passed, my dad is next of kin, power of attorney and beneficiary and we were all under the impression that he was also executor. However, since my grandad has passed and my dad had to get in touch with every company, they have told him he has no legal right to any decision because the company are executor.
So my question is can they sell the house without his permission? Is there any right that we have as his family to his house?
As far as I’m aware this legal company pays any debt my grandad may have, but I’ve found no answers as to what happens in regards to his house.
Sorry for the long drawn out question but any advice or info is highly appreciated
