Old Halifax CC debt now with Lowell
I allegedly have a credit card debt from 2009 wit Halifax for 6400 pounds
After several collection companies its now with Lowell and I pay them 10 pounds a month
They have verbally accepted a settlement of 1300(a number I randomly made up)
I sent them off a 77-79 request letter and they got back saying they don't have it and need to contact Halifax and will update me in 40 days. Also said they wont ask for payment in meantime.
Its now 50 days and nothing back from them
should I request an update? Cancel my direct debit.? Sit tight?
