So small claims, i'm an LIP,...the organisation has appointed bigshot law firm [I estimate they've spent £5k so far on a sub £1k claim by me].
Directions said 'represented party to file all essential docs 3 days before hearing'.
I sent them a few docs i wanted filing and they have refused saying 'These documents do not appear to relate, nor do you suggest they bear any relevance, to any of the claims advanced or issues raised in your Particulars of Claim. They appear instead to relate to entirely different allegations which do not form part of your claim. Accordingly, we do not propose to include the documents provided by you on 20 and 22 October in the hearing bundle. If you wish to provide these documents to the Court yourself and to seek to rely on them you are entitled to do so, but you should be aware that our client will object to their use.
I've replied to them saying the court appointed them 'collator' not 'arbiter'' ie it's not for them to vet or approve my documents. Also asked that they include their refusal email in the docs so I can complain to the judge if possible.
Would welcome peoples thoughts...
