Used car turns out to be in bad shape, what are my rights?

    You can make your claim online (the online MCOL only allows 1080 characters), but if it is detailed more then 1080 characters then you send the Court your Particulars of Claim, but it is a good idea to send the Defendant the same. Make sure you get Proof of Postage.

    c) Also, with regards to mileage, is this claim still worth doing? You mentioned before I wouldn't get my money back so I'm not sure how to go about it..

    That is totally up to you, I said you couldn't do a Chargeback because you paid by Bank Transfer.

      Okay, but is there anything that suggests I wouldn't get my money back because I drove the car after deciding to reject it? I can't find anything online, and I'm really not looking forward to losing another £500 over this if the claim gets rejected

        You'll need / might need to explain the extra miles (100), we can't tell you what will / won't happen.
