  • SRA fund interest rates....

    Hi All,

Could somebody advise me what interest rate the SRA fund may add to any grants awarded against defaulting practitioners please?

I've read it's based on the Bank of England base rate....

I've read it's based on a Barclays Bank 4% base rate....

Also would they award interest back to the date of my investment loss being February 2012 do you think....

    Thanks in advance,

    John.

They use their own prescribed rates (SRA Compensation Fund Rules 2021rule8.1)

SRA don't appear to publish the rate, but as the award is a discretionary grant and interest is a supplementary to the grant I don't think you can challenge the award anyway
